On Saturday we took McKenna to her first Mavericks game! My dad got us tickets and since McKenna is still under two we were able to bring her along. I wasn't sure how she would do but she LOVED it! She was in awe of the noise and lights and especially the Jumbotron! At first all she did was stare at it! She also clapped her hands 98% of the time. It was so cute. She would just be clapping away and then the crowd would get loud and clap and she would clap harder and faster! She is also picking up all of this sports lingo. She would shout "Defense" "Go mavs" "2 points" and would "raise the roof" with her hands! All of the people around us thought it was so funny seeing this small little girl saying Defense at the right time even! Poor McKenna has no chance of not being a sports fan with Todd and I. Thankfully she likes it all right now! She also had a fun time dancing in the aisle. She would just start moving and a shaking each time the music would play. She had such a great time! What a good little Mavericks fan she is!
