WARNING....Mega post and picture overload!

This past April we were able to take a wonderful trip to sunny Anaheim CA and visit Disneyland! It was such an amazing trip and as I go through these pictures it makes me want to go back this weekend!! As always I took WAY to many pictures and these in this post are probably only 2% of what I took!! Todd had to go to Anaheim for a week long conference and the hotel was a 15 minute walk to Disneyland! So we decided to take advantage of the free hotel room and todds free flight and take a little vacation to see Mickey! As much as we don't like it when Todd travels we do consider ourselves blessed by the trips we have been able to take. There is no way we would be able to travel like we do without his airline miles and hotel points, so for that we are thankful. We were also thankful that my mom was able to come with us for part of the trip too!! While Todd was in class McKenna, my mom and I were able to enjoy Disneyland! We went the weekend before too so that Todd was able to go a day too! Here are some of the pictures from our trip....don't say I didn't warn you....there are alot of pictures!!!

McKenna is definitely my daughter! She loves everything Paris! She loves to eat at La Madeline, dress fancy, and say ooh la la!! I think it has to do with her love for Fancy Nancy. If you don't know who fancy nancy is take some time to google her! She is a little girl who loves everything fancy, french and fun! Fancy Nancy talks alot about the Eiffel Tower. One day we were shopping and McKenna with a very excited and loud voice said "Mommy!!! Look!!! It is the Eiffel tower!!!" Poor little thing.....this is what she saw!!!!

If she thinks a tower in Lewisville Texas is the Eiffel tower I think that is great! Gotta love the minds of little kids and the things that make them happy....for McKenna is it a tower in Texas!!

EASTER!!!

What a wonderful Holiday!! Celebrating the Risen King! Even though there are so many fun things that come with Easter my prayer is that McKenna will never forget the real reason we celebrate Easter. This year McKenna really started to understand the Easter story. She would say "Jesus died on the cross for me and everyone in the world!"

School Easter Party!

McKenna's little preschool had a fun Easter party for them! They had carnival type games for them to play, a petting zoo and of course an egg hunt! McKenna had a blast!

Church Egg Hunt!

Each year our church holds an annual Easter egg hunt! We have been the past two years and have had so much fun! Click here to see the first church egg hunt we went too! She has sure grown up so much since that one. She loved hunting the eggs and hanging out with her friends and or course loved seeing the Easter Bunny again too!
