The Adventures of Our Life: Wonderful White Christmas!!

In Texas all we usually do is dream about a White Christmas. We do not experience it! Well that was not so this Christmas! It was a beautiful white Christmas! It was so exciting to experience it but even more exicting to see McKenna enjoy it so much! Weeks before Christmas McKenna would say things like "I can't wait for it to be Christmas then it will snow." She said it many times and was bound and determined to see snow on Christmas. I would tell her over and over again that it would probably not snow on Christmas here in Texas so then she started saying "we will just go to Colorado for Christmas so it will snow on Christmas." Much to our surprise we did not have to take a Christmas road trip to Colorado. (I am a little afraid that she might expect snow every year now!!) On Christmas Eve we went to Mammys house in Ft Worth. They even got more snow being a little bit further west and it was wonderful! We had a wonderful Christmas eve playing in the snow, drinking hot chocolate, eating yummy food, and spending time with family. It was a wonderful way to start celebrating Christs birth! The usual 45 minute drive back home took over 2 hours. It was a slow one and a little stressful but also a little magical too seeing snow all around!
We woke up Christmas morning to see more snow! Santa, snow, a yummy Christmas breakfast, and wonderful family made a perfect Christmas morning! Even though they all have been great this was truly one of the best Christmas' yet!
