Brent and Jenny's Wedding

This past weekend was Todd's brothers wedding. McKenna did great and had a wonderful time! With the exception of the bride and groom she was the center of attention! At the rehearsal on Friday night she loved shouting "My Daddy" and "Where's Daddy?" the whole time he was up at the front during the rehearsal! She also loved running up and down the aisles. I said at least it is good practice for her because she will be the flower girl next weekend in my best friend, Holly's wedding! For lunch on Saturday we met some family that was in town at their hotel. McKenna loved roaming the halls and having everyone give her their attention! At the wedding we tried so hard to get her to make it until the bride came down the aisle but it just didn't happen. She was too talkative and didn't want to stay still even with the goldfish bribe so my sweet dad ended up watching her out in the hall during the ceremony! He said there were about 8 little ones out there and it was like they had their own little nursery going! McKenna had fun trying to hug the little boys! We better be watching out for her! When we got to the reception it was already way past her bedtime so she was a little cranky but as soon as she got something to eat and when music started she got her second wind! She was the dancing diva! Dancing with all of the kids and doing her new favorite dance move....turning around in circles so fast until she gets dizzy and falls to the floor! She was all over the place just smiling and a moving everywhere she went. We didn't leave the reception until 11 and needless to say she fell fast asleep on the way home!

I can't WAIT to see McKenna dance at my wedding...this will be the hi-light...she looks so adorable dancing at the wedding! She has to catch the boquet at my wedding...we need to have a practice so she learns how to catch!! Of course she cannot be married until she is 40, but it never hurts to catch the boquet. Little McKenna is SO precious...Hugh and I were talking the other night and we said that McKenna is the baby that inspires us to have a child (in the FAR/distant future)!! I do hope I have a precious red-head baby...reminds me of my Hugh and of Angie too!! We LOVE Mc and her special temperment...she is a reflection of her INCREDIBLE mommy and daddy!! What a blessing you are my BEFRI!!
