Fun with Nature

There is a fun park fairly close to us that has everything! There is a fun playground, a lake where you can actually fish, lots of open spaces, picnic table and a fun nature trail! It is a great getaway and you don't even really feel like you are in the big city! We had a fun picnic lunch, played and went on a nature walk. My friend that we went with read about a fun activity to do with kids called a nature bracelet. You get a piece of masking tape and put it around their wrists like with the sticky side up. Then they go and collect leaves, grass, flowers, rocks, just about whatever and put them on their bracelets! McKenna LOVED this and wants to do nature bracelets all of the time now!
