The Adventures of Our Life: Sesame Street Live!

This past Thursday night I took McKenna to see Sesame Street Live! Let me just say that she had the time of her life. I had such a good time too just seeing how much fun she was having. We went with her friend Abby and her mom Sarah and my cousin and her little boy Brayden. My aunt let us take her minivan so we could all pile in one car. The kids had so much fun riding together and were so excited.. The whole day McKenna kept talking about going to Elmo and Cookies house. She couldn't wait. She took only about a 30 minute nap and woke up saying "mommy lets go to Cookie and Elmos house." She was too excited to even sleep! When we got there the kids had a little snack and had a great time running around the place before we went in to our seats. Once the show started McKenna was in awe. She just sat there staring at the show. After it was on a little bit she started dancing and clapping. We were on an aisle seat so she even stood in the aisle for part of it and danced away! She loved it! On the way home she was awake the whole time. Abby and Brayden fell asleep, but not McKenna! She is my little non sleeper. She was just too excited from the night. Once we got back into our car she called Mimi and Granddad and told them all about the show. It is the most that she has ever said on the phone too. She wouldn't stop talking. When we got home she was so excited to tell Daddy all about it too! Finally at about 11pm she went to bed! We can't wait until Sesame Street comes back again! Here are some pics from the night!
